Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

We’re excited to welcome a new cohort of graduates with a computer science or related major who are ready to leverage their skills to drive real-world impact and shape the future of finance. In our hybrid early career program, you’ll be paired with a tenured Affirmer and have an opportunity to collaborate in-person 3 days a week out of our New York City, or San Francisco offices. Opportunities are available across different tech stacks and teams.

• Work on tasks that contribute to the team's projects and goals.
• Collaborate proactively with your team and stakeholders, creating visibility and dialog regarding risks and trade-offs.
• Balance speed and quality to hit business goals while protecting systems from downtime.
• Contribute to community by engaging in growth and development activities.

• Ability to turn a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, writing clear, easily understood, well-tested, and extensible code.
• Comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews.
• Take ownership of growth, proactively seeking feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with our global engineering team.
• Requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

USA hourly base pay: $60.58; USA monthly base pay: $10,500.00.
