Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect on the Field Engineering team, you will partner with Account Executives to develop customer engagement strategies, coach junior Solutions Architects, and influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements. You will act as a trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, and contribute to technical community engagement by developing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. You will have the opportunity to develop in one of four tracks: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.

• 7+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience
• Ability to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s)
• Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape
• Can travel up to 30% when needed

Local Pay Range: $139,700—$247,300 USD. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits. Databricks offers comprehensive benefits and perks; details vary by region.
