Solutions Architect - General Business, East (Presales)

As a Solutions Architect for General Business, East (Presales), you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to sales, customers, partners, and the community. You will understand customer business issues with the Elastic Stack, engage the regional community, and enable sales through partners.

• Serve as technical point of contact for accounts and account managers.
• Develop deep understanding of customer goals and articulate how Elastic offerings address them.
• Craft and own value-based relationships at all levels.
• Participate in all phases of territory planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of Elastic products to demonstrate value in sales meetings and events.
• Advise sales team on positioning Elastic products and services.
• Onboard, educate, and enable partners.
• Craft collateral and collaborate with other Elasticians.
• Voice customer and community needs to engineering and leadership.
• Deepen sales and technical skills through self-driven education.

• Track record of success in technical presales.
• Proven ability to articulate and sell benefits of modern platforms.
• Passion for curiosity and continuous learning.
• History of successful customer relations and architecture design.
• Ability to influence and inspire groups.
• Willingness to travel 30% within region, occasionally internationally.

Base salary range: $89,600—$141,700 USD. Target variable range: $38,400—$60,700 USD. On-Target Earnings (OTE) range: $128,000—$202,400 USD. OTE is based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable).
