Solutions Engineer, Central & Eastern Europe - Hebrew Speaking

Cloudflare's solutions engineering function collaborates with clients from early-stage ideation through to planning for production. Senior Solutions Engineers sit alongside peers in client organizations, contributing energy, ideas, and opinions on solving hard industry problems. The role involves deep work on the art-of-the-possible, developing adjacent technology expertise, and mastering technical and industry advocacy on behalf of clients. A key aspect is offering good practice guidance and adopting a deploy-to-production mindset, focusing on operational process as much as product. As part of the broader solutions engineering community, you will work alongside peers with deep subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge. As a senior member, you will contribute to a body-of-knowledge across networking, cybersecurity, and edge computing, as well as industry analyses and perspectives.

This role focuses on large private sector clients, developing deep understanding and partnership.

• Own the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and efficient adoption roadmaps.
• Act as the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare, working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
• Seek out and create scalable solutions for customer needs, driving customer success across the organization.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Internet performance and security technology, keeping up with Cloudflare's product innovation.

• 3-to-10 years of experience in the IT industry (early or mid-level experience).
• Fluent Hebrew and English (written & spoken).
• Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands.
• Demonstrating empathy with customers and quickly identifying challenges and pain points.
• Understanding of how the internet works: differences between TCP & UDP, authoritative DNS vs recursive DNS, role of a firewall, importance of TLS (SSL), solid understanding of HTTP.
• Understanding of how customers make buying decisions and how to explain ROI.
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape for one or more of: DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform, or Zero-Trust/SASE service providers.
• Willingness to travel 10-15 days per quarter to customer offices, conferences, and/or talks.

• Previous experience in a pre-sales SE or consulting role.
• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash) and a desire to expand those skills.
• Exposure to emerging technical landscape trends in Security such as Zero Trust.

For Portugal based hires: Estimated annual salary is between €74,000 - €101,000. The final offer will be inclusive of time exemption, in alignment with the applicable law and collective bargaining agreements. This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan.

For Germany based hires: Estimated annual salary is between €114,000 - €157,000.

Equity: This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan.
