Specialist Sales Engineer

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness IoT data for actionable insights. They serve industries like agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.

We are seeking a Specialist Sales Engineer to bring our technology to market. This is a remote position open to candidates in the US, requiring up to 25% travel. You will partner with sales executives to plan and execute strategic deals, match customer pain points to solutions, and establish customer relationships. You will work across the technology stack, including hardware deployment, SaaS dashboard setup, custom reporting and integrations via our API, and mentor other SEs.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• 4+ years of technical software sales experience in the enterprise space
• Deep understanding of security, cloud software, automation, networking, and control systems
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience leading complex projects and fostering collaboration

• Experience with APIs and/or scripting languages like Python
• Familiarity with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
• Industry knowledge in routing, navigation, commercial trucking fleets, and logistics
• Ability to support North American and European time zones
• Multilingual fluency (Spanish/French)

Annual OTE salary range: $198,050—$233,000 USD.
