Sr. Solutions Architect - Financial Services (Fintech / Data Providers)

As a Mission Solutions Architect, you will lead the growth of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will work with customers, teammates, product teams, post-sales teams, and partners to identify use cases, develop architectures, and guide customers through implementation. You will partner with the sales team, provide technical leadership, consult on big data architecture, execute proof of concepts, build and present reference architectures, and promote open source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) across developer communities. Travel to meet customers in your territory is required.

• 10+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, preferably with big-data technologies
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming in at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R
• Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with data engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehousing (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
• Undergraduate degree or higher in engineering or mathematics

Local pay range: $219,100—$301,300 USD. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus and equity.
