Databricks is building a small, nimble NYC engineering team to create novel interfaces for GenAI agents that manage complex workflows while keeping humans in the loop. This is a 0-to-1 environment combining startup agility with Databricks' resources.

• Create novel interfaces for GenAI agents that manage complex workflows with inspectability and transparency.
• Partner with product management, design, and engineering to build intuitive, scalable solutions.
• Lead by example with hands-on full-stack development for dynamic, user-centric experiences.
• Enable product-led growth through seamless onboarding and sharing capabilities.
• Direct the future of agentic applications at Databricks.
• Establish best practices for building valuable AI products.

• 10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated product mindset with ability to translate ambiguous problems into MVPs.
• High ownership and bias for action in 0→1 environments.
• Strong collaboration across product, engineering, and design.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, VueJs/Ember).
• 10+ years with server-side web technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).
• Proven experience building and shipping end-to-end generative AI products, ideally with UI/UX component.

Local Pay Range: $190,900—$253,750 USD. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits. Databricks offers comprehensive benefits; details vary by region.
