About the Role

Join Pinterest's IT Enterprise Systems team to lead the design, development, and evolution of Oracle EBS-based solutions, modern integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities supporting fintech initiatives. This highly technical role spans Oracle EBS, AWS, and emerging internal AI platforms to deliver secure, scalable, business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support scalable enterprise solutions across Oracle EBS and Finance systems, focusing on technical architecture, integrations, and reliability.
  • Serve as senior technical expert for Oracle EBS Financials, driving system design, development, customization, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Lead integrations between Oracle EBS and internal/external platforms using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native approaches.
  • Build finance-related services and integration components leveraging AWS and cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to in-house Oracle MCP and AI-powered components for automation and productivity.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully in engineering workflows while maintaining technical judgment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery including architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
  • Evaluate and modernize finance system architecture, strengthen controls, and improve maintainability.
  • Ensure strong SDLC practices, change management, and SOX-compliant controls.
  • Partner with Finance and IT to support ERP modernization and cloud transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience with Oracle EBS solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS components, integrations using APIs, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with internal platform capabilities like Oracle MCP tools or AI-enabled engineering tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and enterprise AI use cases, with ability to validate outputs responsibly.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, EBS extension frameworks, reporting tools.
  • Experience with middleware and enterprise architecture including Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic, REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.
  • Solid experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across architecture, design, development, issue resolution, release management, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit requirements, security, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $158,765—$326,870 USD. Eligible for equity.

Additional Information

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. The role requires in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and can be situated anywhere in the US.
