We are seeking a Threat Intel Manager to build and run our CBRN-E & Advanced Weapons team within Threat Intelligence. This team detects, investigates, and disrupts attempts to misuse Anthropic's AI systems for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives threats and for the development of advanced or novel weapons.

Responsibilities: Own strategy, priorities, and outcomes for the mission area; hire, manage, and develop a team of investigators; personally lead investigations into misuse attempts; evolve detection from broad harm screens to CBRN-specific signals; set the analytic quality bar; own escalation and enforcement decisions; lead external engagement with government and scientific stakeholders; inform safety-by-design and capability-evaluation strategies; serve as a liaison to government partners.

Minimum qualifications: Deep domain expertise in biosecurity, chemical defense, weapons non-proliferation, DURC, or related CBRN-E threat domains; experience leading investigative or analytic teams; experience with threat actor profiling and threat intelligence frameworks; hands-on experience with large language models and AI misuse; excellent stakeholder management; ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree in a relevant field; real-world counter-WMD experience; government or defense experience; background in AI safety, machine learning security, or technology abuse investigation; experience building threat detection systems; active Top Secret clearance.
