Account Executive - Strategic

Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, including Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. The company unites applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and developer tooling to help companies bring cutting-edge models into production. As an Account Executive, you will prospect and close new business alongside founders and the Marketing team. You will consult with existing and prospective customers to build relationships and shape product and go-to-market roadmaps.

• Help build the foundation and processes for customer-facing teams at Baseten
• Lead, negotiate, and execute new sales opportunities
• Develop a strong sales pipeline with marketing and BDR teams to support quarterly and annual targets
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in sales accounts
• Work cross-functionally to improve customer experience and sales effectiveness

• 5+ years of sales experience in a SaaS business
• Experience selling to technical audiences
• Experience with developer/machine-learning tooling preferred, but not required
• Proven ability to close complex sales cycles
• Proficiency with sales and marketing automation tools
• Interest in working at an early-stage, fast-paced startup

Compensation: $270K – $300K, with a 50/50 split between base salary and variable compensation, plus equity.
