We are hiring multiple Analyst I roles across Affirm's Risk & Analytics organization through this single job posting. Candidates will go through a shared interview process and be matched to a team based on interests, experience, and business needs. Potential team placements include Point of Sale (POS), Direct to Consumer (DTC)/Card, Fraud, Core Analytics, Servicing, and International Expansion.

• Derive insights and support strategy using data analytics to optimize product, risk, or growth strategies.
• Monitor portfolio health by tracking performance metrics, user behavior, and macroeconomic trends.
• Write clean SQL and Python to build scalable reporting and support deployment of machine learning and risk models.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Compliance on consumer lending regulations and market requirements.
• Support cross-functional discussions for product launches and market entries.
• Integrate AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and copilots into daily workflows to accelerate data mining and routine tasks.

• 1–3 years of experience in an analytically driven role.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data mining, data visualization, and foundational statistical modeling.
• Basic understanding of consumer lending regulations, fair lending principles, and machine learning applications.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $115,000 - $165,000. USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $101,000 - $151,000. Total compensation may include monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.
