Analytics Engineer

Reddit is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join its Analytics Engineering team within the Data Science organization. This role sits at the intersection of Data Science and Data Engineering, working closely with Data Scientists and Engineers across Consumer, Ads, and Marketing to curate, develop, and deploy data and analytic tooling. The position is part of the ML & Search department.

• Contribute to data quality, performance, reliability, and automation initiatives.
• Manage a portfolio of data products delivering high-quality, trustworthy data.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows for ingestion, processing, and transformation.
• Implement data quality checks, QA, and monitoring routines.
• Create and manage new data integrations across internal and external systems.
• Build internal tools and applications to streamline data analysis and reporting, driving adoption with a focus on automation and reliability.
• Serve as a thought partner for data scientists, engineering managers, and leadership on data foundations strategy.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience with large-scale ETL systems, building clean, maintainable code (Python preferred) in production.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Scala, etc.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data governance.
• Experience with massive-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with data workflows (e.g., Airflow), data modeling, and front-end or back-end engineering.
• Experience in data analysis and dashboard design.
• Deep understanding of relational and MPP databases.
• Proven cross-functional execution and collaboration.
• Agentic AI-assisted development experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
