CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™, a specialized cloud provider delivering GPU compute for AI and other compute-intensive workloads. We are seeking an SME for Data Center Commission and Quality. This role demands direct knowledge of data center construction with a strong focus on MEP systems. You will work with CoreWeave project coordination members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include overseeing installation and testing of mission-critical systems such as generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution equipment, redundancy protocols, and cooling systems (chillers, CDUs). You will collaborate with general contractors, trade partners, and vendors, serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, review documentation, develop and implement commissioning plans, attend meetings, inspect installations, witness tests, and travel up to 50%.
Qualifications: 5+ years of MEP commissioning experience, preferably in data centers; comprehensive understanding of data center infrastructure including BMS, EPMS, and complex MEP systems; familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning software; ability to manage multiple projects; valid driver's license; willingness to travel and respond to emergencies.
Base salary range: $143,000 - $191,000, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance (100% paid), life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible PTO, paid parental leave, mental health support, fertility benefits, childcare support, tuition reimbursement, and office meals. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
This is a remote-eligible position with 50% travel, and candidates must reside in or near Northern Virginia, Dallas, Richmond, Livingston, or Atlanta.
