Finance Manager I, Platform

As a Finance Manager focused on Technology Infrastructure, you will have financial and strategic oversight for managing and optimizing Pinterest's investments in technology infrastructure, primarily AWS. This role partners with technology infrastructure leadership to govern investments, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective service while enabling innovation.

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Technical Program Management teams to develop annual, monthly, and weekly operational investments and infrastructure demand and financial forecasts.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve, automate, and grow OPEX and infrastructure forecasting and reporting tools and processes.
• Champion an AI-First approach to Technology finance partnership, embedding AI tools into forecasting, metrics analysis, and finance decision-making.
• Design usage prediction models for short and long-term resource capacity needs.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform strategic, time-sensitive analysis and communicate key takeaways.

• Experience with forecasting expenses, with a strong preference for prior experience managing technology infrastructure spending on public infrastructure cloud platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate financial analysis and forecasting workflows, with a rigorous approach to validating outputs.
• Experience managing multiple work-streams end-to-end across multiple functions and teams.
• Expertise in building high-level and detailed financial models.
• Strong business partnership and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver against timelines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting or Finance) and a minimum of 5 years of Finance or Business Operational experience.

Base salary range: $98,561—$202,918 USD. The position is also eligible for equity. Final salary is based on factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and can be situated anywhere in the country. Relocation assistance is not available.
