Front End Engineer, Marketing

Anthropic is an AI safety company building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We are looking for a Front End Engineer to support our Brand Web team, working at the intersection of design and development to build and maintain Anthropic's web properties, including anthropic.com and claude.com.

• Own implementation of design system components and page templates across web properties, including interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools.
• Work within a headless CMS architecture, maintaining content modeling, structured data workflows, and publishing experience.
• Collaborate with designers to bridge static design and interactive web experiences.
• Contribute to internal tools for content authoring and publishing at scale.
• Participate in migrations and site architecture projects.
• Prototype quickly and iterate in collaboration with the team.
• Support tooling and workflow improvements, and contribute to documentation.

Minimum:

• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling.
• Deep understanding of CSS for complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms and content modeling.
• Experience building internal tools or improving team workflows.
• Ability to prototype quickly and iterate confidently.
• Clear communication with designers and engineers.
• Track record of contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope.

Preferred:

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Interest in generative or programmatic design.
• Familiarity with localization or internationalization systems.

Annual salary: $300,000—$320,000 USD.
