Global Workplace Business Operations Lead

Perplexity's Workplace Experience team is seeking a Global Workplace Business Operations Lead to manage business operations and cross-functional program delivery for our global Workplace Experience team. You will collaborate with the Head of Workplace Experience to set the operating framework, make decisions within agreed priorities, and remain hands-on in delivering results.

• Own the Workplace operating framework: lead annual and quarterly planning, translate strategy into priorities and resource plans, and establish decision rights and success measures.
• Lead internal capital-project delivery: manage integrated delivery plans for office openings, refreshes, and capital initiatives; direct external PMs and hold partners accountable.
• Own portfolio controls and insight: establish lease administration, obligation tracking, space and occupancy information, and portfolio reporting.
• Drive financial planning and performance: own operating and capital forecasts, commitments, actuals, and variance analysis in partnership with Finance.
• Set the systems and reporting roadmap: own business requirements and governance for workplace tools such as Envoy; improve data quality and automate repeatable work.
• Lead EHS program governance: establish risk-based plans, responsibilities, and review cadence with vendors and internal teams.
• Set standards for delivery and handover: develop project playbooks, planning processes, and operational-readiness criteria.
• Serve as a senior operating partner: lead cross-functional reviews, surface decisions with recommendations, and drive resolution.

• 8+ years in workplace business operations, corporate real estate, facilities programs, or related field, with increasing responsibility for complex multi-site programs.
• Project and program management expertise: agile yet methodical in planning, organizing, tracking, and executing projects.
• Relevant delivery depth: record of delivering office buildouts, relocations, or capital improvements as an internal owner.
• Strong financial and analytical judgment: experience driving forecasting and reporting, challenging assumptions, and translating data into recommendations.
• Experience building an operating framework: established planning, governance, performance measures, and systems.
• Leadership across organizational boundaries: secure commitments, challenge constructively, and resolve competing priorities.
• Hands-on ownership and sound judgment: move between portfolio-level trade-offs and project details, deliver through others, and maintain a service-oriented approach.

Salary range: $185,000 - $235,000 USD per year, plus equity.
