About the Role

The Group Product Manager - Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) is responsible for defining and bringing to market the next generation of telemetry analytics and insights capabilities in an AI-first environment. This role is highly technical and creative, envisioning novel ways to enable customers to cost-effectively explore, analyze and report over petabytes of data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of product managers focused on Datadog's BYOC Program
  • Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for BYOC
  • Gather insights from customers, partners, and internal data
  • Work closely with BYOC, Log Management, BitsAI, and Platform teams to build ingest, index and search capabilities for petabyte scale
  • Make it easy for customers to onboard new workloads and products onto the BYOC platform
  • Recommend and launch new offerings with BYOC based on use cases for Security and Compliance
  • Partner with Marketing and GTM teams to drive adoption
  • Present to industry experts and analysts such as Gartner, Forrester and IDC
  • Guide Product Solution Architects to build pre-validated architectures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management, including 2+ years managing other product managers
  • At least 3+ years of experience with databases, data warehouses, SQL concepts & language, BI products, and/or distributed systems
  • Hands on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Prior experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Splunk, or ClickHouse is a strong plus
  • MBA is a strong plus

Compensation

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $244,000—$305,000 USD.
