About the job

About Ramp

Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. We hire people with high agency and high urgency, looking for slope over intercept.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join Ramp's People team during an active Workday implementation. Reporting to our Senior HRIS Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in configuration and system support, partnering closely with our implementation partner and cross-functional teams through go-live and hypercare. This is an opportunity to help strengthen the data integrity, controls, and employee experience that support Ramp as we scale.

What You'll Do

  • Support the configuration, testing, rollout, and ongoing maintenance of Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, and Absence
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, run testing cycles, resolve issues, and ensure cutover readiness
  • Run data validation and audits across HRIS and downstream systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance through regular reporting
  • Support system releases and enhancements, including testing changes, documenting outcomes, and triaging issues as they arise
  • Train and enable team members and system users on existing and new processes and functionality
  • Build and maintain SOPs and job aids that make recurring HRIS processes accurate, scalable, and easy for others to support
  • Support AI transformation initiatives involving Workday, partnering with People, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions

What You Need

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including configuration and production support
  • Direct experience with one or more Workday modules: HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, or Absence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to reconcile data, identify root causes, and troubleshoot discrepancies across systems
  • Strong attention to detail and track record of managing employee data with sound judgment, accuracy, and appropriate controls
  • Ability to translate business requirements into configuration, testing, and documentation
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative to resolve issues with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally across People, Finance, IT and business stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting a Workday implementation post-production stabilization
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting, integrations, or security concepts
  • Exposure to automation tools or AI-assisted workflows
  • Background in a high-growth tech or fintech environment, ideally with global scope
