About the Role
Lattice is on a mission to build cultures where employees and companies thrive. As a senior member of the People team, you'll shape compensation strategies to help Lattice attract, reward, and retain top talent. Reporting to the VP of Talent Development, the Lead Compensation Partner will own Lattice's compensation function end to end, setting direction for global programs, leading bi-annual compensation cycles, executive compensation, and Compensation Committee work.
What You Will Do
- Partner with senior leadership, People Partners, and managers to provide data-driven guidance on compensation strategy and complex pay decisions.
- Own planning and execution of bi-annual compensation cycles, including market analysis, budget modeling, calibration, and communications.
- Lead executive compensation and equity analysis, translating market data and governance requirements into recommendations.
- Drive quarterly Compensation Committee preparation and execution.
- Establish principles, decision frameworks, and governance for offers, equity grants, promotions, and retention actions.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and People Operations to strengthen systems and controls.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve compensation workflows and reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, and Design for Lattice's compensation product.
- Lead cash and equity modeling, benchmarking, and reporting.
- Connect compensation with performance, development, DEIB, and people analytics.
What You Will Bring
- 8–10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including complex programs in a dynamic environment.
- Deep expertise in broad-based and executive compensation, equity strategy, market benchmarking, job architecture, and compensation modeling.
- Experience supporting Compensation Committee or board-level processes.
- Strong business acumen and judgment, with ability to navigate ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills and fluency with modern analytics and AI-enabled tools.
- Strong executive communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Comfort operating as the sole compensation leader.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification (CCP, GRP) preferred.
Compensation
The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $163,000 - $203,500. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options.
