Manager, Technical Services

The Technical Services Partner Support team works closely with MongoDB partners to ensure mutual customer environments are healthy, stable, and successful on the MongoDB data platform. This role leads a team of technical services engineers managing partner-facing technical cases and escalations, coaching and growing the team, ensuring operational execution, and strengthening collaboration across Technical Services, Support Delivery, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Partner teams.

• Lead and develop a high-performing team: manage daily operations, staffing, hiring, mentoring, and performance.
• Oversee partner support and escalations: drive operational excellence in triage and resolution for complex, high-priority partner issues.
• Optimize processes and scale operations: identify process gaps, refine workflows, and leverage metrics.
• Collaborate and advocate: partner with global leadership for follow-the-sun service delivery.
• Drive product feedback loops: capture actionable trends to influence Product and Engineering roadmaps.

• 5+ years in technical support, technical services, customer-facing engineering, or similar in enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years leading technical, customer-facing teams (or equivalent technical leadership).
• Strong operational instincts: case management, escalation, prioritization, workflow design, support process improvement.
• Ability to coach and develop technical talent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer and partner advocacy mindset.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
• Solid technical foundation in database administration, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, networking, performance troubleshooting, or application architecture.
• Nice to have: experience with ISVs/OEMs, MongoDB/Atlas/cloud platforms, knowledge management, case deflection, globally distributed support.

Base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $133,000—$261,000 USD.
