Market Manager

Airbnb's Hotels organization, which includes HotelTonight, is seeking a Market Manager to ensure the health and expansion of hotel supply in San Diego and Palm Springs. This role involves managing hotels, acquiring high-quality inventory, and enhancing Airbnb's market presence in the designated region. Responsibilities include developing acquisition strategies, generating and converting hotel leads, managing relationships with strategic partners, and refining scalable supply management strategies for both established and emerging markets.

• Build, manage, and expand partner relationships within the territory, aiming to surpass quarterly sales targets with hotels.
• Conduct regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners to develop strong, enduring partnerships.
• Implement strategies to manage and optimize the long tail of thousands of hotels in the region.
• Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply within the assigned geography.
• Educate clients on product updates and cascade feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Leverage data to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support.
• Represent Airbnb in external meetings with hotels and at industry conferences.

• 5+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.
• 2+ years of tech/travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of working a leads pipeline and a book of business.
• Proficient quantitative skills and ability to interpret and apply data.
• Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Base pay range: $111,000—$123,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

This position is US - Remote Eligible, but the successful applicant must be based in San Diego to conduct their work. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity; see the exclusion list for details.
