Mid-Market Account Executive

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a dynamic Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net-new revenue and expansion within Mid-Market accounts in an assigned territory. The role requires a blend of high-level technical curiosity and value-based selling, moving beyond transactions to solve complex data problems.

• Drive adoption of Elastic's AI-powered search, observability, and security solutions in new and existing Mid-Market accounts.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers transform data into actionable insights.
• Position Elastic as the Search AI platform of choice with fluency in cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
• Champion open-source offerings while articulating the value of advanced commercial features.
• Develop comprehensive business plans leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems.
• Navigate complex sales cycles using frameworks like MEDDPICC.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals.

• Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales in Mid-Market accounts with overachievement.
• Focus on acquiring new logos.
• Ability to craft tailored narratives linking technical capabilities to business outcomes.
• Executive negotiation and closing skills.
• Technical and cloud fluency, including security, observability, vector/traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
• Relationship building with technical developers and executive leadership.
• Accurate sales forecasting and CRM management.
• AI mindset for performance advantage.
• Enthusiasm for open-source model.
• Native or fluent German language skills.

The typical starting On-Target Earnings range (Base Salary + Variable) is €135,200—€213,900 EUR.
