About the job

About the role

This is a critical leadership role responsible for building and scaling Anthropic's consulting, GSIs and AI-native boutique partners across Italy. You will own the strategic roadmap, investment prioritization, development plans, and revenue accountability for a portfolio of partnerships that will collectively become critical drivers of Anthropic's enterprise growth. This is a builder role, not a manager role.

Key responsibilities

  • Treat each partner as a structured sales pursuit with detailed stakeholder mapping, account plans, and targeted engagement strategies.
  • Guide partners in creating repeatable customer solutions for use cases across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, public sector, and professional services.
  • Own and drive KPIs: partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced revenue, consultants trained and certified, joint proposals submitted.
  • Establish success metrics with each partner and drive regular business reviews; report on partnership health and commercial outcomes with data-driven insights.
  • Amplify the Anthropic brand across Italy through strategic partner relationships and execute market-specific GTM strategies.
  • Navigate regional regulatory, compliance, and data sovereignty considerations.

You may be a good fit if you have

  • Builder mentality — comfortable starting from zero and creating scaled partnerships.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology partnerships, ideally within cloud, AI/ML, or platform businesses.
  • Deep existing relationships at VP+ level within target partners.
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on measurable outcomes and KPI attainment.
  • Track record of driving incremental revenues through partnerships in the region.
  • Collaborative approach with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, product, marketing, and regional teams.
  • Passion for AI and alignment with Anthropic's mission of beneficial AI development.

Working relationships

You will formally report to the International Partnerships leader, while your day-to-day work will be led by our South EMEA Partnerships lead. You will also partner closely with Anthropic's regional sales leader and their Account Executives, as well as the in-region Customer Success and Technical Account Management teams.

Location and travel

This role will be based in Milan, Italy with travel expected to engage with partners and customers externally + regular international travel.

Compensation

Annual Salary: €185.000—€220.000 EUR (OTE range includes sales commissions/bonuses target and annual base salary).

Logistics

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
  • Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
  • Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

How we're different

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
