About the job
About the Role
We're looking for a Partner Solutions Architect to own the global technical relationship with Snowflake and Databricks. This is a global role scoped to those two partners. For each, you will own the technical alliance plan worldwide, the joint technical narrative, and our joint integration and roadmap priorities with each partner to drive cosell revenue. You will also own our technical presence at major milestones such as Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit.
What You'll Do
- Own the global technical alliance plans for Snowflake and Databricks.
- Own the joint technical narrative and capability messaging for the combined dbt + Fivetran platform on Snowflake and Databricks, including reference architectures, integration patterns, and the joint value story.
- Build reusable collateral, playbooks, and enablement assets for the broader partner solutions architecture team and partners.
- Maintain a single, current view of integration state, gaps, and opportunities across the combined platform on Snowflake and Databricks, covering ingestion, transformation, Fusion, the semantic layer, catalog and metadata, open table formats, and agent and MCP interfaces.
- Serve as the primary technical counterpart to partner engineering and product teams at Snowflake and Databricks, and run the standing technical cadence.
- Own technical presence at Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit, including hands-on labs, sessions, demos, and technical readiness.
- Partner with regional Partner Solutions Architects and Partnerships organization for global-to-regional execution.
- Travel approximately 30% for alliance planning, technical workshops, executive meetings, and partner events, including international travel.
Skills We're Looking For
- 6+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, partner engineering, technical product management, developer relations, or another customer-facing technical role in data and analytics.
- Fluency across the modern data stack (ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses and lakehouses, open table formats, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and the emerging agent and MCP layer).
- Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
- Sound product and strategic judgment and reasoning.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for workshops, hands-on labs, keynote-adjacent sessions, and large partner technical audiences.
- Proven ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
Bonus Skills
- Experience owning a technical alliance, with a track record of shaping what a partner built and how the two products fit together.
- Experience with partner-facing APIs, SDKs, drivers, or integration certification programs.
- Background in product management or technical product marketing alongside a field engineering career.
- Familiarity with cloud marketplace motions and co-sell programs.
