The Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) is a Datadog expert aligned to the Channels & Alliances business segment, responsible for supporting technical initiatives for partners, including cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation. The PSA acts as a trusted technical advisor for the Partner channel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources.
- Participate in joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and Partner technical teams.
- Collaborate internally to support partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value.
- Advocate for partners' technical concerns with Datadog internal teams.
- Analyze partner service offerings and recommend enhancements through greater adoption of Datadog features.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services to prioritize new features.
- Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption.
Qualifications
- Solid technical grounding with hands-on experience in IT Development and/or Operations.
- Demonstrable track record and passion for learning; typically 10-15 years in a customer or partner facing technical role.
- Self-starter with solid business acumen and confident presentation skills.
- Desired hands-on experience in two or more of: Observability (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace), Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), Dev/Scripting (Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go), Config Mgmt (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab).
- Bonus: Previous experience in technical role for channel partners, or using Datadog/cloud monitoring tools.
Compensation
The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $149,000—$199,000 USD.
