People Business Partner

Fivetran is seeking a People Business Partner to join our Regional HRBP team and support managers across North America. You will report to the Director, Regional HR Business Partners. In this role, you will help managers tackle performance, feedback, development, conflict, team dynamics, and difficult people decisions. You will handle complex people matters, including performance and employee relations work across North America, balancing judgment, employee experience, business needs, consistency, and risk. You will also help teams perform better by working with managers on team health, engagement, talent, performance, and change, using both qualitative input and data. You will spot patterns, connect dots across teams, and bring emerging themes and risks to the right people. You will work closely with Functional HRBPs and help build the new Regional HRBP model, challenging what doesn't work and building scalable approaches. You will also look for ways technology, automation, and AI can remove repetitive work or improve decision-making.

• Experience as a People/HR Business Partner or in a role where you've coached managers and dealt with meaningful people and team challenges.
• Strong working knowledge of US employment practices; experience supporting employees across multiple US states is strongly preferred; broader North American experience is a plus.
• Strong manager coaching skills, good judgment, agility, comfort with ambiguity, and interest in the business behind the people question.
• Ability to work independently without operating in a silo, notice patterns, and work across teams, functions, and time zones in a distributed company.
• Bonus: experience with People data, analytics or visualization tools, interest in AI, experience building or improving processes, or experience through merger, integration, or rapid growth.

Pay Range: $115,719—$138,868 USD.
