Reporting to the VP, Global Events, the Principal Event Marketing Manager acts as the head of the Data + AI World Tour — a 20-stop global event series that brings the Data + AI Summit experience to customers, prospects, and partners. This high-visibility leadership role drives the strategy, execution, and business outcomes of the program, operating as both strategic architect and hands-on operator.

What you'll do

  • Define and drive global alignment of the end-to-end World Tour strategy — city/market selection, format, content vision, and annual calendar.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Field Marketing, Product & Solutions Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Field Sales to drive qualified pipeline.
  • Orchestrate the World Tour budget model and sponsorship/partner revenue strategy with Finance and Sponsorship Sales.
  • Build and maintain the measurement framework — pipeline influence, attendee satisfaction, executive/customer engagement.
  • Mentor regional marketers and agency partners; represent the program to executive stakeholders.
  • Continuously evolve the event format based on customer feedback, competitive landscape, and data/AI market shifts.

What we look for

  • 10+ years of event marketing experience, including 3+ years leading large-scale world tours.
  • Experience driving alignment and managing complex, multi-stakeholder global programs.
  • Metrics-driven, analytical thinker able to use data to drive program success.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence.
