About the job
Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As a Product Manager for Business Technology, you will own internal products that shape how Anthropic works with Claude. You will embed with internal customer teams such as Legal, IT, GTM, Product, Finance, and Security to understand how they work, find where Claude can remove friction, and ship software and automation that changes their outcomes.
Core responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for Claude-powered internal products and automation across one or more customer functions.
- Run intake and prioritization so that the highest-impact problems get built first.
- Write crisp problem statements and requirements that engineers can act on without rework.
- Ship iteratively, gather feedback, and keep improving after launch.
- Co-develop adoption roadmaps with internal customer teams and hold both sides to them.
- Define success metrics before work starts and report adoption and business impact on a regular cadence.
- Treat change management as part of the product.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders in the functions you serve and translate their needs into product priorities.
- Partner with IT, IT Engineering, and Security on access, data handling, and governance.
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance on requirements.
- Understand how Claude, internal systems, and integrations fit together for sound scoping and sequencing.
- Partner with engineering on architecture choices that keep internal products maintainable and secure.
- Stay current on Claude capabilities and bring new ones to internal teams.
Qualifications
Required:
- Deep product management experience, including ownership of products used by internal teams.
- Shipped products that measurably changed how a team or function works.
- Partnered with engineering, IT, and security teams on technical products.
- Clear communication in writing and in person.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and setting priorities across competing requests.
Nice to have:
- Built with LLMs or agent tooling.
- Worked on IT, internal tools, or business systems products.
- Led change management or rolled out new tools across an organization.
- Know security and data-handling practices for internal systems.
Compensation: Annual salary range: £190,000—£240,000 GBP.
Location: London, UK. Hybrid policy: currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
