Sales Development Representative

Elastic is expanding its Sales Development team to support the adoption of its offerings.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in the success of our sales organization by proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities. You will work with current users to understand their use case and help them navigate their Elastic journey. Responsibilities include: collaborating with sales, marketing, and partner teams to develop strategies to build the sales pipeline; balancing reactive work with a proactive approach to identify new opportunities; using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, and craft targeted messaging; and learning the technology to effectively communicate the value proposition with a technical audience.

• Sales or customer service experience a plus
• Willing to be in the Austin, TX office a few days a week
• Open to feedback, genuinely curious, and constantly looking for ways to learn and improve
• Genuine love of technology, with the ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts

• Hitting monthly targets by being results oriented and focused on achieving

The typical starting OTE range for this role is $65,900—$104,200 USD, based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable). The typical starting salary range is $46,200—$73,000 USD, and the typical starting Target Variable range is $19,700—$31,200 USD. This role is eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. The total rewards package includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with other benefits.
