Sales Engineer, Mid Market - TOLA

Role: As a Sales Engineer, you will be part of a team helping modernize essential industries through IoT solutions. You will develop a thorough understanding of IoT hardware, sensors, installation strategies, data collection, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations via the open API.

Responsibilities: Champion Samsara's cultural principles, become an expert on Samsara products, articulate value to prospects, deliver work products like discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, and proof of concepts, walk installers through scenarios, write scripts against the open API, open doors for deeper account entrenchment, and act as a liaison between product and sales teams.

Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor's of Science degree, 2+ years experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support, ability to influence stakeholders, explain complex technical concepts, manage hardware/software evaluations, basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems, and experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems. Must be located within and authorized to work in the US. Ideal: degree in engineering or related, experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript, open APIs, vehicle diagnostic systems, and a hobbyist interest in electronics.

Compensation: Annual OTE range $95,795—$144,900 USD.
