Senior Community Manager

Fivetran is a data integration company that automates data movement. Together with dbt Labs, they are building a data infrastructure layer. This role is part of the dbt community team, focusing on managing and growing the dbt Slack community.

• Own day-to-day operations of the dbt Slack community
• Partner with community leaders and internal stakeholders to evolve channel strategy and engagement programming
• Develop and maintain scalable moderation and support workflows
• Coach and support moderators and community champions
• Create content systems to keep members informed
• Surface community insights and member feedback
• Monitor and report on key engagement metrics
• Manage community tool stack
• Plan for and manage incident response

• 5+ years of digital community management experience
• Experience owning day-to-day operations for a large online community
• Strong understanding of online community dynamics
• Experience building moderation workflows
• Excellent written communication and facilitation skills
• Experience using community tooling and analytics
• Data-informed decision making
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Cultural fluency and high emotional intelligence

Compensation: $130,068—$162,585.50 USD
