  • Create and optimize data models and data products for analytics and reporting.

  • Create visualizations and dashboards (e.g., in Apache Superset) for internal audiences.
  • Develop documentation and runbooks for pipelines, infrastructure, and data models.
  • Implement data security and governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into applications and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, modeling, and querying large datasets.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow) and big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark).
  • Experience designing, operating, and optimizing data lake/warehouse solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related data services.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines in production.
  • Experience creating reporting and analytics solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience with Apache Iceberg or similar table formats (Delta Lake, Hudi).
  • Experience with Trino or other distributed SQL query engines.
  • Experience with Apache Superset or other BI tools.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks, observability, and metadata management.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and KPI design.
