Senior Manager, Platform Management (Payments)

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Guest Payments Platform team within the payments organization. This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of guest payment capabilities, including payment methods, refunds, payment plans, and processing resilience. The role reports to the Global Director of Payments Platform Product Management.

• Deliver and evolve the Guest Payments Platform strategy and roadmap, including pay-ins, refunds, payment plans, methods, and processing resilience.
• Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle for guest payment sub-domains, from concept to launch and optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Risk, Compliance) to deliver high-quality capabilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior platform managers.
• Contribute to the broader payments platform strategy with insights on competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and present plans to senior leadership.
• Define and monitor key product metrics for operational excellence.

• 12+ years of product management experience in money movement (pay-ins and pay-outs) within payments, finance, or transactional companies.
• Proven experience with stakeholder needs and working with non-product teams (legal, tax, compliance, risk, payments operations).
• Direct experience working with engineers.
• Startup experience with fast pace and limited resources; bonus for large-scale organization experience.
• Ability to synthesize unstructured information into clear requirements.
• Global perspective building products for different countries; bonus for non-credit-card payment methods and risk/compliance systems.

Base pay range: $232,000—$282,000 USD. This role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

US - Remote Eligible. Must live in a state where Airbnb Payments, Inc. is a registered entity.
