Senior Platform Manager, Trust and Safety

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Platform Manager to join the Trust & Safety team, focusing on Safety to reduce safety incidents such as interpersonal harm and illegal activities. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of hospitality and travel by building products that create a safe and trusted community worldwide.

• Creating vision and strategy for Trust & Safety products and platforms.
• Leading cross-functional working groups of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and policy experts to ensure alignment, execution, and launches.
• Maintaining product backlog and product roadmap, owning prioritization based on business value and customer impact.
• Defining goals and success with measurable objectives and key results.
• Building alignment across product teams and leadership/executive teams.
• Anticipating bottlenecks, making tradeoffs, and balancing business, customer, technical, and operational constraints.
• Presenting product roadmap and status to business and Airbnb leadership.
• Evaluating new product opportunities and proposing buy, build, or partner solutions.
• Developing short-term plans aligned with long-term goals to iteratively build platform capabilities against safety issues.
• Becoming a thought leader and entrepreneur for building products and platforms.

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Prior product, operation, or engineering experience in trust, safety, risk, or fraud.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication to diverse stakeholders, including global C-level executives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building machine learning products or technical product management.
• Experience in design and hypothesis-driven product development.
• Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills across global teams.
• Experience leading teams through ambiguity and high-stakes trade-off decisions.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsites. Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity; excluded states list may apply.

Base pay range: $179,000—$207,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
