Senior Product Designer

Checkr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions, serving over 140,000 companies including Uber, Airbnb, and Anthropic.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape end-to-end experiences for Checkr’s Verifications products, focusing on drug & occupational health testing. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to design intuitive workflows in high-trust domains.

• Own design for key Verifications product areas from discovery through launch.
• Simplify complex workflows (verification requests, document collection, consent, scheduling) into clear experiences.
• Use AI-assisted design tools to prototype and implement lightweight UI changes.
• Design for trust, transparency, and accessibility in a regulated domain.
• Contribute to design systems and standards.

• 5–8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to distill complexity into simple, usable flows.
• Experience planning lightweight research (interviews, usability testing).
• Strong attention to interaction patterns, content clarity, and accessibility.

• Experience in background screening, HR tech, healthcare, or compliance-heavy spaces.
• Experience designing B2B / B2B2C products.
• Familiarity with design systems and scalable components.

Base Salary range (San Francisco, CA): $169,000—$199,000 USD; Base Salary range (Denver, CO): $143,000—$168,000 USD.
