About the Role
Samsara is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to own project-level workstreams that scale systems and processes supporting Enterprise Account Executives. This role partners with Sales Operations leaders, Account Executives, and cross-functional stakeholders to reduce friction in the sales pipeline. The analyst will be the go-to source for project-level data and reporting, using AI and automation to accelerate analysis and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own project-level workstreams end-to-end that enable the Enterprise Sales team to spend more time in the field.
- Partner with Sales Operations leaders and Account Executives to refine the intake and prioritization process for sales requests.
- Identify pain points for Enterprise sellers and propose practical solutions.
- Serve as the go-to source for project-level data and reporting, building dashboards, analyses, and recommendations.
- Collaborate across departments (Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Sales Strategy, GTM Systems) to execute improvements.
- Define project-level strategy and roadmap within function-wide workstreams.
- Use AI to automate routine tasks and speed up analysis.
- Build KPIs with manager, track performance, and flag risks.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar analytical/operations role.
- Demonstrated ability to own project-level workstreams end-to-end with minimal guidance.
- Strong written communication and ability to present analysis to senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and familiarity with the sales technology ecosystem.
- Experience with Lead-to-Cash systems and business processes.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with sales data.
- Ability to bridge differing perspectives and drive consensus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; business, finance, economics, or engineering focus is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
- Salesforce CPQ experience and/or Salesforce administrator experience.
- Experience supporting Enterprise or large-segment sales teams.
- Experience supporting public sector sales teams is a plus.
- Concrete examples of AI-driven solutions built or implemented.
- Ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Product Management and/or Six Sigma best practices (nice-to-have).
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary range: $79,432.50—$120,150 USD. Total rewards include performance-based bonus/variable pay, equity (for eligible roles), flexible remote model, professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more.
