About the job

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™, a specialized cloud provider delivering massive scale GPU compute. The AI Dev Platform Tooling team builds and operates the SaaS platform that lets engineers ship software quickly, reliably, and safely. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services and APIs at the core of our SaaS infrastructure.

This is primarily a backend role: you'll write Go running on Kubernetes, manage state in PostgreSQL, and provision infrastructure with Terraform across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You'll evolve designs to meet scale, stability, and performance demands, own large ambiguous problems end to end, and participate in on-call rotations while championing architecture that reduces on-call burden. You'll provide technical leadership and mentorship, work alongside Principal Engineers, and influence technical direction.

Who You Are: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with critical backend services, deep expertise in Go, Kubernetes, Terraform, PostgreSQL, and one or more major public clouds. Strong API design skills, ability to break down ambiguous problems, and comfort owning on-call. Preferred experience with SaaS products, CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and monitoring/observability tooling (Prometheus, Datadog).

Compensation: Base salary range $153,000-$204,000, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) match, flexible PTO, and more.
