Senior Specialist Field Engineer - Networking

As a Senior Specialist Field Engineer - Networking in London, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, focusing on networking technologies within high-performance compute (HPC) environments. You will collaborate with customers to design, prototype, and deploy tailored solutions, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, and provide technical leadership during meetings and workshops. Acting as a virtual member of CoreWeave's Networking product and engineering teams, you will contribute to product strategy, conduct technical reviews, and stay current on Kubernetes, cloud computing, and infrastructure trends. You will also represent CoreWeave at conferences and industry events, with occasional travel.

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, ensuring success with CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure, focusing on networking in HPC environments.
• Collaborate with customers to create, prototype, and deploy tailored solutions.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to demonstrate solution value.
• Drive technical leadership in customer meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Act as a virtual member of the Networking product and engineering teams, identifying product enhancements.
• Conduct periodic technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads, suggesting optimizations.
• Stay informed on Kubernetes, cloud computing, and infrastructure trends.
• Lead prototyping and R&D for emerging products and solutions.
• Represent CoreWeave at conferences and industry events.

• B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, Engineer, Researcher, or Technical Account Manager in Cloud Infrastructure, focusing on distributed systems or HPC/cloud services with expertise in infrastructure networking.
• Fluency in cloud computing concepts, architecture, and technologies with hands-on design and implementation experience.
• Proven track record building customer relationships and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Expertise in a broad range of networking technologies, including securing and enabling high-performance networking environments.
• Experience with infrastructure networking, Kubernetes CSI management, and private networking concepts.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs used in AI/ML applications and associated technologies such as Infiniband and NVIDIA Collective Communications Library (NCCL).
• Preferred: code contributions to open-source inference frameworks, scripting/automation for network technologies, multi-cloud solutions, and client-facing publications/talks on latency, optimization, or advanced model-server architectures.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is 98,000 to 130,000 GBP. The total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (based on eligibility). Benefits vary by location and are shared during the hiring process.
