About the Role
Fivetran is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer, GTM to evolve our Salesforce CRM to meet the needs of our rapidly scaling global business. You will work with the Revenue Excellence team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Salesforce is the source of truth. This is a high-visibility role with an opportunity to drive impact quickly.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive critical projects and technical strategy for Salesforce CRM and related systems.
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions integrating with enterprise systems.
- Spearhead strategic initiatives such as process automation and data integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and executives to prioritize projects.
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers.
- Address high-impact technical challenges ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the tech community through best practices and insights.
- Own the Salesforce ecosystem fully and act as primary point of contact for high-stakes projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of business processes, particularly billing, revenue recognition, and order management.
- Experience in setting and executing strategic technical visions.
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and IPaaS.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and managing data flows.
- Demonstrated experience in governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Salesforce Developer I & II certifications required; System Architect and/or CPQ Specialist preferred.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and Salesforce DevOps practices including CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Compensation
Oakland Pay Range: $202,787—$253,483.50 USD. Compensation may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on role.
