Fivetran is a data integration company that automates data movement across systems, clouds, and tools. We are looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer, GTM to evolve our Salesforce CRM to meet the needs of our scaling global business. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Oakland, CA, or Denver, CO, or remotely in the US.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive critical projects and technical strategy for Salesforce CRM and related systems.
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions integrating with enterprise systems.
- Spearhead strategic initiatives like process automation and data integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering.
- Mentor and develop a team of engineers.
- Address high-impact technical challenges ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the tech community and own the Salesforce ecosystem fully.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of business processes, particularly billing, revenue recognition, and order management.
- Experience in setting and executing strategic technical visions.
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and IPaaS solutions.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and managing data flows.
- Demonstrated experience in governance and compliance, including GDPR.
- Salesforce Developer I & II certifications required; System Architect and/or CPQ Specialist preferred.
- Agile and DevOps expertise, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Compensation
Denver Pay Range: $191,761.50—$239,701.75 USD.
