This Senior role is an area owner who leads designs, raises engineering standards, and delivers measurable improvements to latency, throughput, and reliability across multiple services.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement solutions for testing and validation of CoreWeave's global infrastructure.
  • Develop Kubernetes-native controllers and operators to automate infrastructure workflows.
  • Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (gRPC/REST) in Go or Python.
  • Develop performance tests and automation workflows for hardware validation.
  • Write and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators.
  • Adapt open source tooling for system metrics, performance, and health visibility.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

What we're looking for

  • ~5 to 8 years experience.
  • Proficiency in Go and/or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operators/controllers.
  • Nice to have: hardware testing at scale, HPC, AI/ML infrastructure experience.

Compensation

Base salary range: $165,000 - $242,000, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
