You will partner with product engineers and infrastructure teams to turn recurring pain points into reusable platform capabilities.
Responsibilities include: designing and evolving Ruby frameworks for REST APIs, async jobs, and data access; improving availability and performance; modernizing the Ruby codebase; enhancing developer workflows; strengthening the async job platform; and mentoring engineers.
Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years building production systems with Ruby. Experience with large Ruby applications, distributed systems, and improving complex systems. Nice-to-have: background-job systems, AWS (SQS, EKS), Temporal, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI improvements.
This is a full-time role that can be held from US hubs or remotely in the United States.
Compensation: Annual base salary range $153,000—$376,000 USD.
