Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure Services

The Data Platforms Team manages data infrastructures including managed databases, data ingestion, data flow, and data lake and retrieval. The team develops use cases, discovers innovative solutions, and automates operations of the data platform infrastructure.

• Design and implement the platform to deliver data to teams with a focus on managed solutions through APIs.
• Participate in operations and scaling of relational data platforms.
• Improve performance, security, reliability, and scalability of data platforms and related services; participate in on-call rotation.
• Establish guidelines and guardrails for data access and storage for stakeholder teams.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

• 2~5 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience operating services in production at scale, versed in reliability engineering concepts.
• Understanding of CAP theorem and concurrency models; ability to define data models and guidelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and interest in contributing to a Kubernetes operator.
• Proficiency in Go/Python and interest in open source.
• Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and Linux storage/networking stacks.

Base salary range: $109,000 to $160,000. Total rewards include discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
