Software Engineer I, Fullstack ( Post-Purchase International)

Join the Post-Purchase International team at Affirm, a remote-first fintech company. You will help build the foundational platform and customer experiences for Affirm's global expansion, owning the end-to-end post-purchase journey across international markets. Collaborate with European engineering counterparts and global teams to develop cohesive, scalable solutions.

• Work on tasks that contribute to team projects and goals.
• Collaborate proactively with team and stakeholders, creating visibility on risks and trade-offs.
• Balance speed and quality to hit business goals while protecting systems from downtime.
• Contribute to community through growth and development activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

• Previous work or internship designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Previous work or internship shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Ability to turn simple problems into solutions interacting with multiple software components, writing clear, well-tested, extensible code.
• Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging, and providing feedback through code reviews.
• Ownership of growth, seeking feedback from team and manager.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.

Base pay range: 57,000 - 87,000 EUR per year.
