Software Engineer - Infrastructure

• Design, develop, maintain, and support APIs, backend services, and distributed systems using Ruby, Java, Go, and Scala.
• Build, test, deploy, and maintain software infrastructure for large-scale production systems.
• Design and develop software systems using analytical techniques and mathematical models to evaluate performance and tradeoffs.
• Develop and execute testing, validation, debugging, and documentation procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across multiple services.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Design and build systems to securely store, manage, and modify production data.
• Improve engineering standards and development processes.

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of software development experience. Must also have 2 years of experience in each of: developing software applications; working with Ruby, Java, Scala, or Go; building backend or full-stack applications for large-scale systems; designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and distributed systems in production; writing unit tests and performing manual testing; implementing industry-standard software design patterns including distributed systems, event-driven architecture, fault-tolerant systems, and cost-effective engineering.

Base salary range: $156,800.00 – $235,200.00/yr. Sales commissions/bonuses, if applicable, are in addition.
