Solutions Architect

Databricks is the Data and AI company, serving over 20,000 organizations including 70% of the Fortune 500. As a Solutions Architect in the Field Engineering team, you will build relationships with clients in Italy, provide technical and business value, and operate as an expert in big data analytics. You will develop into a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and build the Databricks community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

• Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, and communicate technical and value propositions.
• Develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with account executives.
• Prior experience coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
• Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences.

• Location in the Milan region (commutable distance for hybrid schedule).
• Flexibility to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, events, and trainings.
• Business proficiency in both Italian and English.

Italy Pay Range: €92,300—€126,950 EUR. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
