Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect (Lakebase) team executes on Databricks’ strategic Product Operating Model, focusing on earlier-stage, highly prioritized product lines to establish product-market fit and drive rapid revenue growth. This role is part of a global go-to-market team but covers a specific local region, partnering with direct account teams to position the Lakebase product line and drive adoption.

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical champion, building credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field insights into strategic recommendations.
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in the product line.

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Broad experience in two or more areas: data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field.

Italy Pay Range: €92,300—€130,000 EUR. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
