Solutions Engineer, Benelux

As a Solutions Engineer for the Benelux region, you will focus on the broader technology ecosystem that carries Cloudflare solutions to market. Your role involves building technical relationships, driving technical solution design, developing champions, evangelizing Cloudflare, and representing the market internally. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and channel partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with prospects, customers, and ecosystem organizations across Benelux.
• Drive technical solution design conversations through use case qualification and collaborative technical wins via demonstrations and proofs-of-concept.
• Develop passionate technical champions within accounts to drive sales and revenue pipeline.
• Evangelize Cloudflare through technical thought leadership and expertise.
• Be the voice of the market internally, influencing Product and Engineering teams.
• Travel within Benelux for engagements, conferences, and industry events.

Desirable skills and experience include:

• Fluency in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
• Strong pre-sales experience, partner and account management.
• Technical competencies in networking (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, BGP, subnetting), tunneling (GRE, IPsec, MPLS, SDWAN), cloud networking (VPCs, peering), DDoS mitigation, WAF configuration, VPN/Zero Trust, API security, bot management, SASE, and HTTP/reverse proxy architectures.
• Working knowledge of major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Cloudflare Workers and edge compute model (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with related primitives: KV, object storage, serverless compute.
• Competitive and industry knowledge across Cloudflare's product areas.

Compensation for Netherlands-based hires: Estimated annual salary between EUR 110,000 - EUR 151,000, including on-target incentive compensation under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan. This role is also eligible for Cloudflare's equity plan.
