About the role
The Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Delivery Partner Manager supports the mission of the FDE team to accelerate and de-risk customer business outcomes through effective enablement and delivery of Databricks platform technology. This individual contributor role oversees the Databricks Delivery Partner Program, leveraging partnerships with key system integrators to co-deliver services engagements.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop FDE relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs), Regional System Integrators (RSIs), and regional partner teams to support bi-directional pipeline review and engagements.
- Build an RFP process for partner selection on large, complex multi-year migration deals; create templates and scorecards for data-driven selection.
- Lead efforts to incubate and ramp new partners with Gen AI capabilities.
- Drive MBRs and QBRs with priority partners and develop long-term roadmaps for delivery priorities.
- Develop scorecards and feedback loops to segment partners by focus areas, regions, and company priorities.
- Drive delivery governance to ensure partner quality on services-led and partner-supported implementations.
- Support global programs to measure partner quality (CSAT, Partner Survey) and program governance.
- Lead programs aligned with FDE & Partner strategy for Assurance and advisory services.
- Enable GSIs, RSIs, and SIs on Assurance services; support bi-weekly reviews and deal governance.
- Support Partner IP efforts such as service delivery kits to scale the ecosystem.
- Liaise with Delivery Partner organizations to ensure personnel have required training and certification.
- Champion specialization programs and implement onboarding processes for partner resources.
- Work with resource management for pipeline planning and ensure partner resource availability.
- Allocate and outsource projects to services partners, selecting appropriate partners and ensuring project success.
- Support bi-directional contractual negotiations with legal and people operations.
- Advocate for partner needs internally and manage escalations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs for each services partner; coach and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Extensive industry experience including resource management and demand pipeline management.
- Proven success in navigating and driving engagements with large enterprise organizations, with a focus on FDE.
- Extensive experience within an FDE or consulting organization as a partner manager and/or consulting manager.
- Experience managing partner or third-party organization enablement, including upskilling teams.
- Ability to work directly with partners and customers to gather, prioritize, plan, and execute solutions.
- Experience managing commercial agreements with partners, including statements of work.
Compensation
Pay range transparency: Zone 1 $156,000—$214,500 USD; Zone 2 $140,400—$193,050 USD; Zone 3 $132,600—$182,400 USD; Zone 4 $124,800—$171,600 USD. Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
