Sr. Director, Field Activation

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness IoT data to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Samsara is looking for a Senior Director, Field Activation to lead the team that brings global enablement programs to life in the field, reporting to the VP of Field Enablement.

In this role, you will lead the Americas Field Activation & Execution team, driving adoption of global skill programs (70% focus), addressing bespoke sales team enablement needs (20%), and stakeholder engagement (10%). You will manage quarterly enablement & leadership team connects, provide structured feedback to global program teams, and lead, coach, and develop a team of field enablement managers.

Minimum requirements: 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in sales as a quota-carrying Account Executive or sales manager; experience leading a field-facing enablement or sales operations team; strong track record of driving adoption of programs across a distributed sales organization; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ideal candidates also have direct experience as a frontline sales manager, a data-driven approach to measuring program adoption, and experience partnering with global enablement teams.

Annual OTE range: $150,640—$215,200 USD, depending on city of residence. Total rewards include base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles), plus a flexible remote model, professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more.
